I Prefer to Live in Color.

- David Hockney

WELCOME

I consider myself a semi-representational contemporary art painter.   What that means is….if I paint a tree…you’ll know it’s a tree…it may be a purple and yellow tree but you’ll know it’s a tree! I don’t see myself ever competing with a camera and am far more interested in evoking a mood….often light-hearted and whimsical.

COMMISIONED ART

Many people are commissioning art for family and friends as a birthday, seasonal or retirement gift.  Perhaps you have considered commissioning something for yourself -  perhaps a memory  of  a favorite location or something near and dear to you.

This is a commissioned piece of art that shows a lake setting with 2 kayacks that are red and blue. It also shows a large motor boat and a dog named Ike sitting on a rocky shoreline.
