I really love painting in oils, they just take so long to finish, and for an impatient person like me, that’s always a challenge. This is a small oil painting, one I could complete in a single sitting, and I think that gives it a sense of immediacy.

The bend in the country road caught my attention, the way it curves just enough to invite you forward. It leads somewhere… or nowhere at all. That part is yours to decide.
