Every once in a while — more often than not — I simply lash out with colour. This piece wasn’t created from a photograph or a specific place. It began with a desire to play: to layer foliage upon foliage, push pinks against teals, and let greens collide with violet and blue. I wanted density. I wanted abundance. I wanted the feeling of standing in the middle of a jungle where everything is alive and growing at once.

There’s no horizon to rest on here, and no single focal point demanding attention. Instead, your eye wanders, finding shapes, leaves, and hidden blossoms layered into the next. It’s expressive, instinctive, and joyful. Sometimes a painting isn’t about capturing a place, it’s about releasing one.
