The Hidden Leaf Collection is a series of original botanical paintings created on hand-prepared raw linen. Each piece begins with 100% linen canvas, sealed with clear gesso to preserve the natural warmth, texture, and quiet irregularities of the fabric. The linen is then hand-stretched by the artist over high-quality Jack Richeson kiln-dried pine stretcher bars.
Soft washes, delicate line work, layered colour, and botanical forms move across the exposed linen surface, allowing the canvas itself to become part of the composition.
